Meet some of wonderful long-term volunteers:

“I am a full time working Mum of two beautiful children and a dog . I love the great out doors . I have always been passionate about children and have worked for 25 years with children who have special needs. I am fun, caring and extremely dedicated that every child matters and deserves opportunities to have experiences through play to enhance their development. I am so proud to be part of the H4RC team and to give these refugee children some of these opportunities that they do deserve .” Katie

She is a recognised STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Maths) specialist on both national and international levels, with her award winning curriculum enrichment programme. Farah enjoys running and is training for the London Marathon. She is a Run Director at parkrun, as well as manages her own local run club. The fundraiser for H4RC was started by Isis Aurora Mera. Isis has a History of Art and Architecture BA from Reading University and an Art, Culture and Education MA from Kings College University. Isis has always been passionate about creating engagement through art and culture; she and has run various creative-art projects to make all culture accessible to disadvantaged young people; including supporting the education teams and developing workshops for the London Canal Museum, Gassworks Gallery and the Tate Modern as a free-lance arts educator before founding Help4Refugee Children.
